TTLL12 (tubulin tyrosine ligase-like family, member 12)는 644 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질로, TTL 도메인을 하나 포함합니다. TTLL 계열의 14개 구성원 중 tubulin을 변형시키는 역할을 하는 TTLL12는 가장 특성이 덜 알려진 단백질입니다. TTLL12는 다양한 전이성 전립선암 세포주에서 높게 발현되며, 종양 치료 타깃으로 연구되고 있습니다. TTLL12의 과발현은 염색체 배수성(ploidy)에 영향을 주며, 발현 억제 시 tubulin의 여러 번역 후 변형(post-translational modifications)에 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
