For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

STOML2 is a mitochondrial protein involved in regulating mitochondrial biogenesis and activity.
It stimulates cardiolipin biosynthesis and binds cardiolipin-enriched membranes, recruiting and stabilizing proteins such as prohibitin.
STOML2 contributes to the organization of functional mitochondrial membrane microdomains and plays roles in:

• Cell migration and proliferation
• T-cell activation
• Calcium homeostasis
• Cellular stress response

It is required for mitochondrial hyperfusion, a pro-survival response that enhances ATP production. STOML2 may also regulate plasma membrane domain organization and T-cell receptor signaling.
