Target Information
IL-15 (Interleukin 15)은 T세포 및 자연살해세포(NK cell)의 활성화와 증식을 조절하는 사이토카인입니다. IL-15와 IL-2는 공통 수용체 서브유닛에 결합하며 상호 경쟁적으로 작용할 수 있습니다.
CD8+ 메모리 세포 수는 IL-15와 IL-2의 균형에 의해 조절되며, IL-15는 JAK 키나아제 활성화 및 STAT3, STAT5, STAT6의 인산화와 전사 활성화를 유도합니다.
마우스 연구에서는 IL-15가 Bcl-xL 발현을 증가시켜 세포사멸을 억제할 수 있음이 보고되었습니다.
IL-15는 T 및 B 림프구, NK세포, 대식세포, 단핵구의 성장과 분화에 중요한 역할을 하며, 다양한 염증성 질환(류머티즘 관절염, 건선, 폐 염증 등)과 관련이 있습니다.
최근 연구에 따르면 IL-15의 중화는 건선 및 당뇨병 모델에서 유익한 효과를 보일 수 있어 치료 표적으로 주목받고 있습니다.
