Description:
The eBio5E8-G9-B4 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD193 (CCR3, CKR3). CD193 is a seven transmembrane G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) and a high-affinity chemokine receptor for eotaxin-1 (CCL11), eotaxin-2 (CCL24), eotaxin-3 (CCL26), and MCP-4 (CCL13). It also binds RANTES, MCP-3, and MCP-4.
CD193 is highly expressed on eosinophils and regulates their migration and function. It is also found on CD4+ TH2 cells, basophils, mast cells, mononuclear phagocytes, platelets, CD34+ progenitors, and airway epithelial cells. CD193 plays a key role in allergic airway inflammation and asthma and can serve as an HIV-1 co-receptor.

Applications Reported:
This antibody is suitable for flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Use 5 µL (0.06 µg) per test (defined as staining a 100 µL cell sample). Cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

488–561 nm excitation; 578 nm emission; Blue, Green, Yellow-Green lasers.

Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

CCR3 (C-C chemokine receptor type 3):
Binds eotaxin, eotaxin-3, MCP-3, MCP-4, RANTES, and MIP-1 delta. Induces intracellular calcium signaling and acts as an alternative co-receptor with CD4 for HIV-1 infection. Chemokines regulate inflammation and immune cell recruitment through G protein-coupled receptors, mainly classified as CXCR and CCR groups.
