Target Information
Human IgG4, also known as human immunoglobulin G4, is a subclass of human IgG antibodies produced by the immune system in response to antigens. It is the least abundant IgG subclass in the blood and plays a minor role in pathogen defense. IgG4 binds specific antigens and promotes their clearance through mechanisms such as phagocytosis and complement activation. It is also involved in immune tolerance and inflammation suppression.
Human IgG4 is useful for studying immune responses and developing diagnostic or therapeutic tools for infectious and autoimmune diseases.
