Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
TRIP10 is required for translocation of GLUT4 to the plasma membrane in response to insulin signaling. It coordinates membrane tubulation with actin cytoskeleton reorganization during endocytosis. TRIP10 binds phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate and phosphatidylserine, promoting membrane invagination and tubule formation. It enhances CDC42-induced actin polymerization by recruiting WASL/N-WASP, activating the Arp2/3 complex. Actin polymerization aids in fission of membrane tubules to form endocytic vesicles. TRIP10 is also required for podosome formation and may contribute to lysosomal retention of FASLG/FASL.
