Product Specific Information
This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Sheep, Bovine, and Cat.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.
Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include:
- High specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulations
- Broad immunoreactivity due to the large rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp (DEAD), are putative RNA helicases involved in RNA secondary structure alteration, such as translation initiation, nuclear and mitochondrial splicing, and ribosome and spliceosome assembly.
Some members of this family are associated with embryogenesis, spermatogenesis, and cellular growth and division.
The DDX5 gene encodes a DEAD box protein functioning as an RNA-dependent ATPase and proliferation-associated nuclear antigen, specifically reacting with the simian virus 40 tumor antigen.
The gene consists of 13 exons, with alternatively spliced transcripts detected, though no isoforms have been identified.
For Research Use Only.
Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
