Description:
ALF-161 항체는 마우스 Interleukin-1α (IL-1α)에 반응합니다. IL-1α는 Lymphocyte Activating Factor (LAF), Endogenous Pyrogen (EP), Leukocyte Endogenous Mediator (LEM), Mononuclear Cell Factor (MCF)로도 알려진 17 kDa 단백질로, macrophage, dendritic cell, T 및 B 세포 등 다양한 세포에서 생성됩니다. 주로 세포 결합형이며 IL-1β와 23%의 아미노산 서열 상동성을 가집니다. IL-1α는 lymphocyte, epithelial cell, fibroblast 등 다양한 세포에 면역 조절 작용을 하며, 생체 내에서 저혈압, 발열, 급성기 반응을 유도합니다.

이 항체는 sandwich ELISA에서 캡처 항체로 테스트되었으며, biotin anti-mouse IL-1α polyclonal (13-7111) 검출 항체 및 recombinant mouse IL-1α (14-8011) 표준과 함께 사용되었습니다. 적절한 캡처 농도 범위는 1–4 µg/mL이며, 1000 pg/mL–8 pg/mL 범위의 doubling dilution 표준곡선을 포함해야 합니다.

IL-1α (Interleukin-1 alpha)는 monocyte, macrophage, dendritic cell에서 발현되는 염증성 사이토카인입니다. IL1A 유전자에 의해 암호화되며, IL-1RI 및 IL-1RII 수용체를 통해 신호를 전달합니다. IL1A는 염색체 2q13 위치에 존재하며, IL-1β와 함께 염증 반응 및 선천 면역 방어에 중요한 역할을 합니다. IL-1 Receptor Antagonist (IL-1RA)에 의해 경쟁적으로 억제될 수 있습니다. 높은 IL-1α 수준은 류머티즘 관절염, 건선, 다발성 경화증 등 만성 염증성 질환과 관련이 있습니다.
