Target Information
Recoverin is implicated in the pathway from retinal rod guanylate cyclase to rhodopsin and may be involved in inhibiting rhodopsin phosphorylation in a calcium-dependent manner. The calcium-bound form of recoverin prolongs the photoresponse.
