Target Information
TLR2 (Toll-like receptor 2)는 병원체 인식과 선천 면역 활성화에 중요한 역할을 하는 TLR 패밀리 단백질입니다. MyD88, TIRAP 등의 어댑터 분자를 통해 PKCα/β 및 NF-κB와 같은 전사 인자를 활성화합니다.
TLR2는 TLR1 또는 TLR6과 이합체를 형성하여 다양한 세균 및 마이코플라스마 지질단백질을 인식합니다.
주로 말초혈액 백혈구에서 발현되며, 그람양성균 및 효모에 대한 숙주 반응을 매개합니다.
TLR2 발현은 LPS, GM-CSF, IL-1, IL-10에 의해 상향 조절되고, IL-4, IFN-γ, TNF에 의해 하향 조절됩니다.
인간 편도, 미세아교세포, 림프절, 충수, 활성화된 B세포 등에서 발현됩니다.
