Target Information
Mimitin은 c-Myc에 의해 직접적으로 전사 자극을 받는 작은 미토콘드리아 단백질로, 식도 편평상피암(ESCC)의 80%에서 높은 발현을 보입니다. RNA 간섭을 통한 Mimitin 억제는 자궁경부암이나 간암 세포주에는 영향을 주지 않지만, 인간 교종, 배아 폐 섬유아세포, ESCC에서는 세포 증식 감소를 유발합니다. 이는 Mimitin이 특정 세포 유형에서 특별한 역할을 할 수 있음을 시사합니다. 또한 Mimitin 발현은 MAPK kinase와 IL-1에 의해 조절되며, NF-κB 관련 경로에는 관여하지 않습니다.
