Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene belongs to the GPI family, encoding multifunctional phosphoglucose isomerase proteins involved in energy pathways.
The encoded protein catalyzes the reversible isomerization of glucose-6-phosphate and fructose-6-phosphate.
It functions both intracellularly (in glycolysis and gluconeogenesis) and extracellularly (as a neurotrophic factor for spinal and sensory neurons).
Defects in this gene cause nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia, and severe deficiency may lead to hydrops fetalis, neonatal death, and neurological impairment.
