Target Information
STAT5 alpha는 STAT 전사인자 패밀리의 구성원으로, 사이토카인 및 성장인자 자극에 의해 인산화되어 핵으로 이동 후 전사 활성화에 관여합니다. IL2, IL3, IL7, GM-CSF, erythropoietin, thrombopoietin 등 다양한 리간드에 의해 활성화됩니다.
TEL/JAK2 융합 유전자가 관련된 골수종 및 림프종에서 STAT5 alpha의 활성은 자극과 무관하게 발생하며 종양 형성에 필수적입니다.
Mouse STAT5 alpha는 BCL2L1/BCL-X(L) 발현을 유도하여 항아폽토시스 기능을 수행합니다. STAT5 alpha와 STAT5 beta는 약 96%의 서열 유사성을 가지며 대부분의 조직에서 함께 발현됩니다.
STAT5 alpha는 생식, 수유, 면역 기능, 체성 성장 등 다양한 생리적 기능에 관여합니다.
