Target Information
This gene encodes an enzyme in the aci-reductone dioxygenase family of metal-binding enzymes, involved in methionine salvage. It may regulate mRNA processing in the nucleus and perform different functions depending on localization. A pseudogene located on chromosome 20 has been defined for this gene.
