Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the interleukin 1 receptor family. Transient gene expression experiments show that this receptor does not bind interleukin 1 alpha or beta with high affinity.
This gene, along with IL1R1, IL1R2, IL1RL1, and IL18R1, forms a cytokine receptor gene cluster located on chromosome 2q12.
