Target Information
LHX9 유전자는 발달 단계에서 발현되는 전사 인자 계열인 LIM homeobox 유전자군의 구성원입니다. 이 단백질은 homeodomain과 두 개의 cysteine-rich zinc-binding LIM 도메인을 포함하며, 단백질-단백질 상호작용에 관여합니다. 마우스에서 해당 단백질이 비활성화될 경우 생식선 무형성(gonadal agenesis)을 유발하는 것으로 알려져 있어 생식선 발달에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 추정됩니다.
