MA3-2024 detects nmt55/p54nrb in human, rat, and rabbit samples.
It has been validated for use in immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and Western blot applications.
In Western blot, it detects a ~55 kDa protein corresponding to nmt55/p54nrb in MCF-7 cells, human breast tumor cells, rat uterine tissue, and rabbit liver extracts.
In immunohistochemistry, it recognizes nmt55/p54nrb in MCF-7 and human breast tumor cells.
This monoclonal antibody has also been referred to as NMT-1.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues T(140)–S(154) of human ER alpha.
Target Information
The NONO gene encodes an RNA-binding protein involved in nuclear processes such as transcriptional regulation and RNA splicing.
A rearrangement between this gene and the transcription factor E3 gene has been observed in papillary renal cell carcinoma.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants and pseudogenes exist on chromosomes 2 and 16.
