Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

This gene belongs to the neuronal calcium sensor (NCS) family, encoding calcium-binding proteins mainly expressed in neurons.
The encoded protein regulates G protein-coupled receptor phosphorylation in a calcium-dependent manner and can substitute for calmodulin.
It is associated with secretory granules and modulates synaptic transmission and plasticity.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
