This antibody detects endogenous levels of total RPL3L protein.
Target Information
A full-length cDNA encoding a novel ribosomal protein L3 gene (RPL3L) was isolated and sequenced. The deduced protein sequence (407 amino acids) shows 77% identity to other known mammalian ribosomal protein L3 genes. Southern blot analysis indicates the gene is single copy. Unlike the ubiquitously expressed ribosomal protein L3, RPL3L is strongly expressed in skeletal muscle and heart tissue, with low expression in the pancreas. The RPL3L gene is located near PKD1 and TSC2 on chromosome 16p13.3.
