Target Information
Interleukin 25 (IL-25) is a member of the IL-17 family and functions as a proinflammatory cytokine produced by Th17 effector cells. It contributes to autoimmune processes such as rheumatoid arthritis by activating NF-kappa-B and stimulating IL-8 production. IL-25 activity is regulated through IL-23, IL-5, and TGF-beta pathways.
