Target Information
Prolylcarboxypeptidase (PRCP) cleaves C-terminal amino acids linked to proline in peptides such as angiotensin II, III, and des-Arg9-bradykinin. The cleavage occurs at acidic pH, though enzymatic activity can be retained with some substrates at neutral pH.
