Product Specific Information

Description:
The 10.1 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD64 (FcγRI), a 75 kDa type I transmembrane protein. CD64 is the high-affinity receptor for IgG and plays roles in antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), phagocytosis, and cytokine regulation. Monocytes and macrophages express CD64, while mature granulocytes and lymphocytes are negative.

Applications Reported:
This antibody is reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Suitable for 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Fluorochrome Information:
APC-eFluor® 780 emits at 780 nm and is excited with the Red laser (633 nm). Ensure instrument compatibility.

Light Sensitivity:
Tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect from light.

Fixation:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.

Target Information

CD64 (FCGR1A):
Encodes a high-affinity Fc-gamma receptor involved in immune response. Located on chromosome 1, CD64 is one of three related gene family members. Dysfunction has been associated with cervical adenitis and tetrasomy 21.
