A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-45968 was sufficient for detection of RAB1A in 10 µg (A549, MEF) and 20 µg (Mouse Brain) lysates by ECL immunoblot analysis.
Detects approximately 23 kDa. Cross-reacts with RAB1B and RAB1C.
Target Information
Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. These subunits contain 4 RNA species and about 80 distinct proteins.
The encoded RAB1A protein may be involved in viral replication by interacting with the hepatitis C virus internal ribosome entry site (IRES).
This gene is co-transcribed with the U68 snoRNA within the third intron and has multiple processed pseudogenes dispersed throughout the genome.
