Target Information
MSP (또는 MST1)은 네 개의 kringle 도메인과 serine protease 도메인을 포함하며, hepatic growth factor와 유사한 구조를 가집니다. Serine protease 도메인이 존재하지만, 단백질은 실제로 프로테아제 활성을 가지지 않을 수 있습니다. 이 단백질의 수용체는 RON tyrosine kinase로, 활성화 시 섬모 상피 세포의 섬모 운동성을 자극합니다. MSP 단백질은 분비되어 α 체인과 β 체인으로 절단되며, 이들은 이황화 결합으로 연결됩니다.
