Target Information

BMPR2는 bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) 수용체 계열에 속하는 transmembrane serine/threonine kinase입니다. 이 수용체의 리간드는 골형성 및 배아 발생에 관여하는 BMP 단백질들입니다.
BMPR2의 기능 상실은 일차성 폐동맥 고혈압(PPH) 및 폐정맥폐쇄 질환과 관련이 있으며, 인간 T세포 분화에도 중요한 역할을 합니다.
BMP 수용체는 type I (50–55 kDa)과 type II (70–80 kDa) 수용체로 구성된 이형 복합체를 형성하여 신호를 전달합니다. Type II 수용체는 ligand 결합에, type I 수용체는 신호 전달에 각각 필요합니다.
