Anaplastic Lymphoma Receptor Tyrosine Kinase (ALK)는 인슐린 수용체 초가족에 속하며, 뇌 발달에 중요한 역할을 합니다. ALK 유전자의 돌연변이, 재배열, 증폭은 다양한 종양(예: 미분화 대세포 림프종, 신경모세포종, 비소세포폐암)에서 발견됩니다.
염색체 재배열은 가장 흔한 유전적 변이로, ALK 유전자(2번 염색체)와 NPM 유전자(5번 염색체)의 융합으로 NPM-ALK 융합 유전자가 형성됩니다. 이 융합 단백질은 종양유발성을 가지며, ALK는 LTK와 높은 서열 유사성을 보입니다. ALK는 신경계의 특정 뉴런에서 작용하여 뇌 발달에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
