Reconstitution:
25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double-distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Voltage-gated sodium channels are heteromeric proteins responsible for generating and propagating action potentials in muscle and neuronal cells.
They consist of one alpha and two beta subunits. The alpha subunit provides channel activity, while the beta-1 subunit modulates channel inactivation kinetics.
SCN1B encodes the sodium channel beta-1 subunit. Mutations in SCN1B are associated with generalized epilepsy with febrile seizures plus, Brugada syndrome 5, and cardiac conduction defects.
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
