Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
FOXP1 belongs to the forkhead box (FOX) transcription factor family. These transcription factors regulate tissue- and cell type-specific gene expression during development and adulthood.
FOXP1 contains DNA-binding and protein-protein interaction domains and may act as a tumor suppressor, as it is lost in several tumor types. The gene maps to chromosomal region 3p14.1, which is associated with tumor suppressor activity.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
