Target Information
이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 apoptosis 억제 단백질 패밀리에 속하며, TRAF1 및 TRAF2와 결합하여 ICE 유사 프로테아제의 활성화를 방해함으로써 세포사멸을 억제합니다. 이 단백질은 혈청 결핍에 의해 유도된 apoptosis를 억제하지만, 자유 라디칼 유도체인 menadione에 의한 apoptosis에는 영향을 주지 않습니다. 아미노산 서열은 세 개의 baculovirus IAP 반복 도메인과 하나의 ring finger 도메인을 예측하며, 동일한 아이소폼을 암호화하는 전사 변이체가 확인되었습니다.
