Target Information
STING은 379개의 아미노산으로 구성된 신호 단백질로, 선천 면역 신호 전달의 중요한 구성 요소입니다. NF-kappa-B 및 IRF3 전사 경로를 활성화하여 type I interferon(IFN-alpha, IFN-beta)의 발현을 유도하고 강력한 항바이러스 상태를 유도합니다. 또한 MHC-II와의 결합을 통해 세포 내 바이러스 RNA 및 DNA를 감지하고, ERK 경로를 통한 세포 사멸 신호 전달에도 관여합니다. 주로 소포체막, 세포막, 미토콘드리아 외막에서 발견되며 대부분의 조직에서 발현됩니다.
