Target Information
This gene is found in a large, low copy repeat sequence (duplicon) on chromosome 15, which is associated with chromosomal rearrangements such as deletions and inversions. It belongs to the golgin gene family, whose proteins localize to the Golgi apparatus. Most related gene copies are transcribed pseudogenes; it is unclear whether this gene encodes a functional golgin protein.
