SLIT and NTRK-like family 4 (Slitrk4)는 여섯 가지 상동성 막단백질(Slitrk1–6)로 구성된 단백질 패밀리의 구성원입니다. 이들은 세포외 도메인에 두 개의 보존된 leucine-rich repeat 도메인을 가지며, 축삭 성장 조절 단백질인 Slit과 높은 상동성을 보입니다. 또한 세포내 도메인에서는 trk neurotrophin 수용체와 유사성을 가집니다. Slitrk 단백질은 신경 및 뇌 종양 조직에서 특이적으로 발현되며, Slitrk4의 과발현은 배양된 뉴런에서 신경돌기 성장 억제를 유도합니다. 따라서 이 단백질은 신경돌기 성장 조절에 관여하는 것으로 추정됩니다.
