Target Information
CDK4/cyclin D3 serine/threonine kinase는 이합체 단백질 복합체로, 세포주기 G1 단계에서 세포 증식 조절에 관여합니다.
CDK4는 D형 사이클린과 복합체를 형성하며, p16 (cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor-2)에 의해 억제됩니다.
CDK4는 Rb 단백질의 C-말단 영역을 인산화하여 E2F 복합체의 전사 억제를 매개합니다.
CDC37과 HSP90은 D형 사이클린에 결합되지 않은 CDK4와 선택적으로 결합할 수 있습니다.
SMAD3는 CDK4 및 CDK2의 주요 생리적 기질입니다.
CDK6과 CDK4 모두 Rb 단백질의 여러 잔기를 인산화할 수 있으나, CDK6은 Thr821을, CDK4는 Thr826을 인산화하는 선택성을 보입니다.
