Target Information

MRGPRX2는 고아 수용체(Orphan receptor)로, 통각 수용 뉴런의 기능에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다. 통각 수용체의 기능 및 발달, 통증 감지 또는 조절에 영향을 줄 수 있습니다. Cortistatin-14는 이 수용체의 고효능 리간드로 알려져 있으며, 수면 조절, 운동 활동, 피질 기능 등 다양한 생물학적 역할을 수행합니다. 수용체 발현 세포에서는 cortistatin 자극 시 세포 내 Ca(2+) 농도가 증가하지만, 기저 또는 forskolin 자극에 의한 cAMP 수준에는 영향을 주지 않아 G(q)-coupled 수용체로 추정됩니다. 말초 및 중추 신경계 모두에서 제한적으로 발현되며, 특히 배근 신경절(dorsal root ganglion)에서 가장 높은 수준을 보입니다.
