Target Information
HYAL2 유전자는 약한 산성 환경에서 활성을 가지는 히알루로니다아제를 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 히알루로난을 분해하는 효소로, 세포 증식, 이동, 분화에 관여하는 히알루로난 및 그 조각들과 관련이 있습니다. 이전에는 리소좀 효소로 생각되었으나, 현재는 GPI-anchored 세포 표면 단백질로 알려져 있습니다. 또한 Jaagsiekte sheep retrovirus의 수용체로 작용하며, 종양 억제와 관련된 염색체 3p21.3 영역에 위치한 여러 관련 유전자 중 하나입니다. 두 가지 전사 변이체가 존재하며, 5' UTR에서만 차이를 보입니다.
