Product Specific Information
The DREG-56 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD62L, a 76 kDa member of the selectin family. CD62L is expressed by neutrophils, monocytes, and subsets of T, B, and NK cells. It binds glycosylated, fucosylated, and sulfated sialylated glycoproteins such as CD34, glycam-1, and MAdCAM-1, mediating lymphocyte rolling on activated endothelium and homing to high endothelial venules (HEV) of lymphoid tissues.

- Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test
- Recommended Cell Count: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test
Brilliant Violet™ 421 (BV421) emits at 423 nm and is suitable for cytometers equipped with a violet (405 nm) laser. Ensure instrument compatibility before use.
When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.

Target Information
Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein adhesion receptor. It includes:
- C-type lectin binding domain
- EGF-like domain
- Two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences
- Transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions
CD62L is constitutively expressed on leukocytes including lymphocytes (except some memory T cells), monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells.
