Target Information
SERPINB5 (Maspin) is a tumor suppressor protein that inhibits the growth, invasion, and metastatic potential of mammary tumors.
It does not undergo the S (stressed) to R (relaxed) conformational transition typical of active serpins and therefore lacks serine protease inhibitory activity.
