Target Information
Cardiac Troponin I (TnI, Troponin I, Cardiac-specific troponin I)는 심근 세포의 억제 단백질로, troponin C (TnC) 및 troponin T (TnT)와 복합체를 형성합니다.
TnT는 tropomyosin과 결합하여 troponin-tropomyosin 복합체를 형성하고, TnI는 actin에 결합하여 이를 고정합니다.
칼슘이 TnC의 결합 부위에 결합하면 TnI가 actin에서 해리되어 myosin과 상호작용하여 근육 수축을 유도합니다.
혈중 TnI 및 TnT 농도 측정은 심근 손상 진단의 중요한 지표로, 협심증과 심근경색을 구분하는 데 사용됩니다.
또한 Cardiac Troponin I는 혈관신생 억제 기능을 가지며, 유전자 변이는 가족성 비대심근병증(CMH7) 및 제한성 심근병증(RCM)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
