Target Information
The PAIP1 protein interacts with the poly(A)-binding protein and the cap-binding complex eIF4A. It plays a role in translational initiation and protein biosynthesis. Overexpression in COS7 cells stimulates translation. Alternative splicing produces three distinct isoforms.
