Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Replication protein A (RPA) is a single-stranded DNA-binding protein essential for eukaryotic DNA replication, repair, and recombination.
RPA interacting protein (RPAIN) acts as an adapter involved in RPA nuclear import, functioning differently from typical importin proteins.
Multiple isoforms exist:
- The longest isoform is localized in the cytoplasm.
- Isoform 2 is sumoylated and located in the PML nuclear body within the nucleus, mediating localization of the RPA complex and contributing to DNA metabolism.
