Target Information
CD18 integrin beta 2 subunit은 모든 백혈구에서 발현되는 90 kDa 타입 I 막단백질입니다.
CD18은 CD11a–c와 결합하여 세포 표면에서 헤테로다이머를 형성하며, 이들은 세포 부착 및 신호전달 과정에 관여합니다.
CD18은 CD11 분자와 결합하여 다음과 같은 백혈구 인테그린을 형성합니다:
- αLβ2 (CD11a/CD18, LFA-1)
- αMβ2 (CD11b/CD18, Mac-1, CR3)
- αXβ2 (CD11c/CD18)
- αDβ2 (CD11d/CD18)
이 인테그린들은 백혈구 이동 및 세포 간 접촉에 필수적입니다.
CD18 결손은 백혈구 부착 결핍증(LAD1)을 유발하며, CD18 발현 감소는 건선 유사 피부질환을 초래할 수 있습니다.
또한 CD18은 Mannheimia haemolytica leukotoxin의 표적이며, 해당 독소에 의한 세포 용해를 매개합니다.
