Target Information
LATS2는 LATS 종양 억제 단백질 키나아제 계열에 속하는 serine/threonine protein kinase입니다.
이 단백질은 p53의 음성 조절 인자와 상호 작용하며, 세포골격 손상에 대한 p53 의존적 피드백 루프에 관여합니다.
LATS2는 유사분열 정확성과 유전체 안정성 유지에 필수적인 역할을 하며, 세포 증식 억제 및 세포사멸 촉진을 통해 장기 크기 조절과 종양 억제에 중요한 기능을 합니다.
핵심 신호 경로는 STK3/MST2 및 STK4/MST1이 LATS1/2를 인산화하여 활성화시키고, LATS1/2는 YAP1 및 WWTR1/TAZ를 인산화하여 핵 내 이동을 억제함으로써 세포 증식, 사멸, 이동 관련 유전자 발현을 조절합니다.
또한 cyclin E/CDK2 kinase 활성을 억제하여 G1/S 전이를 음성 조절합니다.
