Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry on PFA-fixed tissues: Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: Heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes before staining.
Target Information
The NKX2.2 protein contains a homeobox domain and is implicated in the morphogenesis of the central nervous system. It is located on chromosome 20 near NKX2-4, with homologous genes TITF1 and NKX2-8 on chromosome 14. This protein functions as a nuclear transcription factor.
