Target Information
CDC25A는 CDC25 family의 phosphatase로, 세포주기 조절에 관여하는 CDC25A, CDC25B, CDC25C의 세 가지 유전자가 인간 세포에 존재합니다.
CDC25A는 세포주기의 G1 및 S phase 진행에 필수적이며, cyclin-dependent kinase CDC2의 인산기를 제거하여 활성화합니다.
DNA 손상 시 CDC25A는 분해되어 염색체 이상을 가진 세포의 분열 진행을 억제합니다.
CDC25A는 oncogene으로 알려져 있으나, 발암 과정에서의 정확한 역할은 아직 명확히 규명되지 않았습니다.
