Target Information
Arginase는 아르기닌을 오르니틴과 요소로 가수분해하는 효소입니다. 포유류에는 두 가지 아이소폼(type I, II)이 존재하며, 조직 분포, 세포 내 위치, 면역학적 교차반응성, 생리적 기능이 다릅니다. 이 항체가 인식하는 type II 아이소폼은 미토콘드리아에 위치하며, 간 외 조직(특히 신장)에서 발현됩니다. 생리적 역할은 완전히 규명되지 않았으나, nitric oxide 및 polyamine 대사에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 또한, 대체 polyadenylation 부위 사용에 따라 여러 전사 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
