Target Information
iNOS (Inducible Nitric Oxide Synthase, NOS)는 무기성 기체 자유 라디칼로 세포 간 신호 전달에 관여합니다. 혈관 이완, 신경전달, 세포 독성 반응을 매개하며, NOS 계열 효소에 의해 L-arginine을 산화하여 L-citrulline과 NO를 생성합니다. iNOS는 간에서 발현되며, LPS와 특정 사이토카인에 의해 유도됩니다. 주요 isoform은 b/nNOS(type I), eNOS(type III), iNOS(type II)입니다. iNOS는 대식세포, 간세포, 활막세포, 평활근 세포 등 다양한 세포에서 발견되며, IFN-γ, TNF, IL-1, IL-2, LPS 등에 의해 발현이 증가합니다. 또한 단백질 키나아제 C 자극제도 iNOS 활성을 증가시킵니다. iNOS는 유도 후 지연된 활성 반응을 보이며, NO 생성량이 장기간 증가합니다. iNOS 기능 이상은 achalasia 및 발기부전과 관련이 있습니다.
