Secretin은 glucagon 계열의 내분비 호르몬으로, 주로 소장의 근위부 점막에 위치한 S 세포에서 생성됩니다. 지방산이나 산성 pH에 의해 분비가 자극되며, 췌장에서 중탄산염이 풍부한 분비를 유도합니다. 또한 위, 소장, 췌장의 성장과 발달을 조절하며, 신경내분비 기능에도 관여할 수 있습니다. Secretin 결핍은 자폐증 증후군과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다.
