Alexa Fluor™ Plus recombinant antibodies are conjugated using proprietary dye chemistry for enhanced brightness and improved signal-to-noise ratio.
These antibodies offer superior specificity and lot-to-lot consistency due to recombinant production.
Usage Tip:
Before use, briefly centrifuge the conjugate solution and use only the supernatant to minimize nonspecific background staining.

Target Information
PKM2 (Pyruvate kinase M2) catalyzes the conversion of phosphoenolpyruvate from pyruvate and ATP.
It interacts with thyroid hormone and may mediate metabolic effects induced by these hormones.
PKM2 also binds Opa protein, a bacterial membrane protein involved in gonococcal adherence and invasion, suggesting a role in bacterial pathogenesis.
Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms of PKM2 have been reported.
