이 항체는 Mouse 및 Rat 신장 호모지네이트에서 반응이 확인되었습니다. Western blot에서 약 22 kDa 밴드가 관찰되며, 44 kDa 밴드는 이량체화된 단백질을 나타낼 수 있습니다.
Target Information
Claudin-4는 20개의 클라우딘 패밀리에 속하는 막관통 세포 접착 단백질로, 상피 및 내피 세포의 tight junction에 위치합니다. Claudin 단백질은 조직 특이적 발현 패턴을 보이며, 세포 간 이온 흐름을 조절하는 채널의 구성 요소로 작용합니다. Claudin-4는 tight junction의 주요 구성 요소로, 기관 발달 및 기능에 관여합니다. 과발현 시 Na⁺ 투과성을 감소시켜 세포 간 전기 전도도를 낮추며, Cl⁻ 투과성에는 영향을 주지 않습니다. Claudin-3 및 Claudin-4는 난소암, 췌장암 및 기타 상피암에서 상향 조절되어 있으며, Claudin-4 유전자는 Williams-Beuren 증후군에서 결실된 것으로 보고되었습니다.
