Product Specific Information
- Each lot is tested for sensitivity using ELISA and specificity using immunoelectrophoresis (IEP).
- Rehydrate with 1.1 mL deionized water, stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve.
- Centrifuge to remove particulates. Prepare fresh working dilution daily.
- Stability: 1 year from date of receipt.
- Based on IEP, no reactivity observed to non-immunoglobulin human serum proteins or light chains on human immunoglobulins.
Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity via signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled human immunoglobulins and further purified or modified (e.g., affinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
